A native of New York City, Jeff studied at New York's School of Visual Arts, the Art Students League, and the Camberwell College of Art in London. He has lived on the coast of Maine since 1988 and gained first-hand experience with the images he paints as a licensed charter boat captain.
In recent years, his painting has focused on marine themes in Maine and Italy, particularly the Penobscot Bay region and Venice. His paintings and prints are included in the collections of numerous individuals and corporations.
